Formula

How SellerMargin calculates Etsy POD profit

Gross revenue is the item sale price plus shipping charged to the buyer. SellerMargin subtracts the listing fee, Etsy transaction fee, Etsy Payments processing fee, optional Offsite Ads, optional currency conversion, product cost, real shipping cost, and ad spend.

profit = gross - etsy fees - product cost - shipping cost - ad spend
margin = profit / gross

The break-even and target-profit prices solve the same equation in reverse, keeping your shipping charged, fulfillment cost, selected seller location, and optional fees constant. Offsite Ads are capped at $100 per attributed order in the estimate.
